web resources too.
GEO - Graduate Employees UnionGEO is a labor union that represents all GSIs and GSSAs at the University. GEO represents GSIs and GSSAs in all collective bargaining activities with the university including contract negotiations. You should
read the GSI contract and get to know your rights and responsibilities. We're all required to pay dues, and you can
find out more about dues on the GEO website.
CAPS - Counseling and Psychological ServicesStudents encounter a lot of stress and stressful situations, and CAPS is available to help. GSIs are often some of the first to notice when a student is distressed, and you can refer students to CAPS for support. SI's Academic Affairs staff is also incredibly helpful.
