How to Opt In

For lists with address <listname>@umich.edu, you can opt in via the University of Michigan Online Directory (UMOD). When you arrive at UMOD,
  1. Click "Bind" (one of the big buttons on the top right)
  2. Log in using your UM Kerberos credentials (the same ones you use to log in to campus computers).
  3. enter the name of the list you'd like to join (e.g. leftbehind07) in the search box and click "Search"

  5. If your join was successful, you'll see a message that looks like this: Your membership has been added:"
